Steffen has been Head of Product Management at Wachendorff Automation since 2023.

With an apprenticeship as an energy electronics technician and 12 years of service in the German Armed Forces in the field of NATO satellite communication, he acquired sound knowledge in the technical environment, which he completed with his subsequent studies in electrical engineering.

He gained his first experience with rotary encoders in 2015 during his bachelor's thesis in the development department at Wachendorff Automation. Employment as a junior product manager followed.

Together with his team, he is involved in the complete life cycle of all product groups: From the innovative new product idea, product upgrades and customer variants to the controlled phasing out of products. 

His guiding principle:
